Express + Book Cafe
A British multinational coffeehouse company founded in 1971 which is still supplying roasted coffee. It aims to save the world from mediocre coffee as well as deepening the understanding and appreciation of coffee.
Costa Coffee has sponsored 'Costa Book Awards' since 2006. It aims to encourage the new and existing customer to take time out with a coffee and enjoy great books.

The visitors of KL Sentral are either rushing for their journey or waiting for the train to reach. A combination of Express Cafe and Book Cafe would be the perfect match for those who need to recharge stamina with a quick slip of coffee or those who wish to spend the extra time for working or studying.
Concept : Immerse
Costa Coffee aims to create an in-store experience to enhance the relationship with customer and the growth of Costa's heritage. With the sense of participation given to customer, an engagement between Costa and customer emerge. Immersion represents the collision, involvement and interaction between both parties
Design Strategy:
The layout plan is distributed into three parts, express zone, casual seatings and reading area to fulfill the needs of people who retent at KL Sentral due to different kind of reasons.To create the sense of immersion, parametric structures with the high and lows is applied as part of the ceiling panel and wall panel.
